Rose Petal Scone Mix

It started innocently enough. Freshly baked rose petal scones were served at Artisan Edibles’ in-store and foodie events as a way to showcase our popular Champagne Rose Petal Jelly.  The overwhelming response was, “Oh My God!,” and so, through customer demand, a new Artisan Edibles product was born: The Rose Petal Scone Mix.

Delicately flecked with pink rose petals, our scones are a breeze to make: just blend whipped cream into the mix, cut the scone dough into heart shapes and bake them for 20 minutes. The results are billowy soft luscious creatures, ready to enjoy.

 

Serving Suggestions

Gently split the warm-from-the-oven scones and spread with a generous layer of crème fraiche, Devon cream, or whipped cream, and top with Artisan Edibles Champagne Rose Petal Jelly. Close your eyes.

This heavenly delicacy can be shared with a loved one, served at brunch, for anniversaries, Valentine’s Day enjoyed with flutes of your favourite champagne, cava or cremant, or even enjoyed while unwinding in a hot bubble bath.

The scones can also be used as a biscuit base for strawberry shortcake served with whipped cream.
